How quiet is the Solitaire?
The Solitaire operates at 43.3 dBA measured at two metres — quieter than a normal conversation. This makes it one of the quietest pharmacy robots on the market. The reduction in noise compared to previous generations is the result of a new guidance system with integrated gyroscopic stabilisation, which also reduces vibration and extends component life.

The Solitaire delivers up to 270 dispensing operations per hour with the standard gripper. With the optional MT.SPEED module — a hybrid horizontal channel structure — the Solitaire reaches virtually unlimited throughput, processing 15 packs in under three seconds. This makes the Solitaire the right choice for high-volume dispensaries where speed at peak hours is critical.
How much can the Solitaire store?
Our Solitaire can store up to 60,000 packs, depending on the robot’s dimensions and pack sizes. Its chaotic storage system assigns each pack a suitable location based on its size and the available space, making efficient use of the storage capacity. The robot is also self-optimising, with optimisation scheduled during quiet periods to support efficient day-to-day operation.
What types of packaging can the Solitaire handle?
The Solitaire handles both rectangular packaging (L×W×H: min. 50×20×15 mm / max. 220×200×150 mm) and cylindrical packaging (diameter 50–150 mm, height 15–200 mm). Transparent packaging is also processed without problems. This makes the Solitaire suitable for a wider range of pharmaceutical products than standard pharmacy robots.
Where can the Solitaire be installed?
The Solitaire can be installed on the ground floor, in the basement, on an upper floor or behind an OTC wall. It is available in lengths from 4 to 15 metres and heights from 2 to 3.5 metres, in 500 mm and 75 mm increments respectively. Every configuration is made to measure.
What is included as standard with the Solitaire?
The Solitaire includes the Pro Package as standard: the Clean Pack (automatic cleaning of internal glass surfaces), the Security Pack (full traceability of all robot access and product deliveries) and the Climate Pack (automatic monitoring of temperature and humidity for critical medicines). These are optional extras on other models.
What happens if the Solitaire needs servicing?
The Solitaire requires one scheduled maintenance visit per year, during which almost no parts are replaced. Meditech applies predictive maintenance: sensors continuously monitor component performance and flag potential issues before they cause downtime. The first year of service is included as standard. A support team is available 24/7. The 5-year full warranty covers all parts and labour. The 15-year lifecycle guarantee ensures every component remains available and identically specified for at least 15 years from the date of last installation.
