How much can the MT.XS store?
The MT.XS stores up to 25,000 packs. The robot uses a chaotic storage system: it automatically selects the optimal position for each pack and tracks every product’s exact location. This maximises the use of available space without any manual organisation.
How much space does the MT.XS require?
The MT.XS starts at 3.75 metres in length and is 1.48 metres wide. It is available in nine lengths up to 11.75 metres and four heights up to 3.01 metres, giving approximately 36 possible configurations. The MT.XS is designed for ground-floor installation — behind an OTC wall or in a back room. It cannot be placed in a basement.
Does the MT.XS handle expiry dates automatically?
The MT.XS applies the FEFO method — First Expired, First Out — automatically. Products with the shortest remaining shelf life are always dispensed first. No manual monitoring or intervention is needed.
What happens if the MT.XS needs servicing?
The MT.XS requires one scheduled maintenance visit per year, during which almost no parts are replaced. Meditech applies predictive maintenance: sensors continuously monitor component performance and flag potential issues before they cause downtime. The first year of service is included as standard. The support team is available 24/7.
What is the warranty on the MT.XS?
The MT.XS carries a 5-year full warranty covering all parts and labour. The 15-year lifecycle guarantee ensures that every component remains available and identically specified for at least 15 years from the date of last installation — so the robot is never rendered obsolete by a discontinued part.
How accurate is the MT.XS?
The MT.XS produces fewer than one dispensing error per 10,000 operations. Every product is scanned on entry and cross-referenced against expected dimensions in the database. Any discrepancy triggers an instant alert before the product enters stock, eliminating robot-originated errors to near zero.
What size packaging can the MT.XS handle?
The MT.XS handles rectangular packaging with dimensions between 50×20×15 mm (minimum) and 220×140×100 mm (maximum). Round or cylindrical packaging is not compatible with the MT.XS standard gripper.
