The company develops, manufactures and distributes pharmacy robots and digitalisation solutions for independent pharmacies, hospital pharmacies and retail chains. With more than 4,000 installations across 37 countries, Meditech is the market leader in pharmacy robotics in Belgium and one of the leading manufacturers globally. The company employs 120 people and operates exclusively in pharmacy automation. It is not a division of a larger conglomerate, but a dedicated specialist.

In 2026, Meditech became the first Belgian company to receive a Pharmacy Product of the Year Award from Independent Community Pharmacist, the leading trade publication for independent pharmacy owners in the UK. Meditech won in the IT & Technology category, recognising the company's automation and digitalisation solutions for community pharmacies.
The awards are granted annually by a closed community of stakeholders from the British pharmaceutical sector, honouring the most innovative products and technologies that improve pharmacy operations and processes.
